Sleep in the heart of the Cuillin
Drift off beneath the watchful peaks of the Cuillin Mountains in one of Sligachan Hotel’s 21 comfortable bedrooms. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or with family, you’ll find a warm Highland welcome and a room to suit your stay. Choose from single, twin, double, superior double, or family rooms – each with an ensuite bathroom and modern amenities for a restful night’s sleep. Every room comes with a TV, hairdryer, and kettle, while family rooms and suites also include a coffee machine.
Guests enjoy complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, including all bedrooms and public areas. Please note: mobile signal (3G/4G) is available in some areas of the hotel, though coverage may vary depending on your network provider.
Pinnacle Suite
Spacious and inviting, the Pinnacle Suite is ideal for family stays, comfortably sleeping up to six guests. It features a super king-size bed, a double sofa bed, and two sofa chairs that convert into single beds.
Standard Double
Simple, comfortable, and well-equipped, our Standard Double offers a cosy retreat for two. Featuring a double bed and all the essentials for a relaxing stay.

From land to sea, our dishes celebrate the richness of the island’s larder, with all meats and fish sourced locally. Served in a warm, welcoming setting, our dishes change with the seasons, alongside daily specials.

Served daily from 7:30am to 9:30am (Mon–Fri) / 7:30am to 10am (Sat–Sun)
If breakfast is not included in your room rate, it can be pre-booked for £10 per person, or purchased on the day for £15.95 per person.
Dinner
Served from 6pm to 9pm. Dinner service will open from 5th to 30th October 2025, when the hotel closes for the season.

MACKENZIE’S BAR
Opens Daily from 4pm to 10pm (last orders 9:30pm)

Nestled at the foot of the Cuillin, Seumas’ Bar has been a warm haven for climbers, locals, and travellers since 1987. Whether you’re celebrating a summit or simply soaking up the scenery, this is the place to unwind with a well earned pint and a hearty meal.
Renowned for its impressive collection of over 400 whiskies, Seumas’ has proudly held the title of Whisky Bar of the Year. The menu brims with tasty, soul-warming dishes and ever changing daily specials inspired by the land, sea, and air around Skye.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to join you in the bar, because good company comes in all shapes and sizes.

BY CAR
Sligachan Hotel is situated at the crossroads of the A87 and A863, making it an ideal base for exploring the Isle of Skye. It’s just a 15-minute drive from Portree, the island’s largest town, and about 35 minutes from the Skye Bridge.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Regular bus services connect Sligachan with key locations across Skye. Scottish Citylink operates frequent buses from Portree’s Somerled Square, with the journey taking around 15 minutes.
FROM THE MAINLAND
If you’re arriving from the Scottish mainland, the Skye Bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh provides direct access to the island via the A87. Alternatively, you can take the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Mallaig to Armadale on Skye, followed by a scenic 45-minute drive north to Sligachan.
